employer presentations and workshops
employer presentations and workshop are currently being offered online. you can showcase your organisation, graduate or internship programs, recruitment process, culture, training or career development opportunities as part of an employer presentation. presentations are for one hour and can be held from week four to eleven of each session. the cost is $150.
alternatively, you can deliver a workshop on a career-related topic such as resume writing, assessment centres, personal branding, or share insights into your industry for students. workshops are free of charge and also held for an hour on campus.

macquarie student employment (mqse) helps students become job ready and facilitates paid employment opportunities on and off campus. paid employment while studying helps students to enhance their employability and develop a range of skills while easing the cost of university study. for employers, student candidates represent a flexible, skilled and scalable addition to your workforce.

s2 virtual careers fair 2020 - thursday 13 august
with the current restrictions on social proximity, we’ve decided to replace our in-person career fair this year with a virtual career fair. at this event you will be able to connect with macquarie students and provide information about your graduate programs, internships, and/or other opportunities available to students and new macquarie graduates. the fair will be attended by students from all disciplines and at all stages of their study program.
this virtual careers fair will be held on thursday 13 august 2020 from 12pm-2pm.

awards programs
professional development program (pdp) is a workshop series run each session to equip final year students with key skills to enhance their employability. topics include networking, career research, resume writing, and personal branding.
create your future is a specialised program created alongside the widening participation unit. it also focuses on building comprehensive skills in students to successfully transition them from university study to employment. the sessions involve students completing at least three interactive workshops, taking part in online activities, and attending a career coaching session with our service.

univative 2020
our yearly inter-university business case competition is back! we are still actively looking for employer partners to present business cases or projects to teams of students from a range of universities. this video provides a glimpse of the impact univative can have on students and your organisation.

our indigenous community
walanga muru – the office of indigenous strategy provides quality support services to indigenous staff and students at macquarie. you can be involved with our office by:
- arranging community events and school visits through our recruitment and outreach program
- becoming a mentor or supervisor through our indigenous cadetship program
- becoming a tutor through our tutoring program.
walanga muru has also developed an indigenous strategy green paper. this paper proposes seven new strategic directions for the university that supports and promotes indigenous inclusion, access and participation. this paper is the first step towards building capacity for indigenous excellence at macquarie.
